Showcasing an Evolving and Maturing Identity

May Mobility is on a “mission is to reimagine transportation by developing and deploying autonomous vehicles that get people where they need to go safely, easily and with a lot more fun.” Poised for growth, it was time for them to shed their “start-up skin” and take their place as a mature, innovative leader in their sector. That’s when they brought us in.

We worked with their team to showcase their evolved brand and story while holding onto their core identity. Integrating design and best-in-class UX, we ensured they are speaking clearly to their distinct target audiences, ranging from prospective employees to potential business investors.

Great Work in Any Language

With a large presence in both the United States and Japan, the May Mobility site needed to effectively communicate with varied audiences in both countries. Enter DeepL. DeepL is our favorite tool for high quality, cost effective translations. This AI-driven translation tool allowed for easy and low cost translation of the May Mobility website to both Spanish and Japanese so they can speak the language their partners are speaking.

User Centric Design

May Mobility’s site was designed with users in mind - both external and internal. One need expressed by the team was an easier CMS workflow and improved authoring experience for the May Mobility team. To achieve this goal, we leveraged Craft CMS. This is our go-to CMS for intuitive admin design and easy content management.

To better reach external users, we focused on a strategically organized site that’s fun to use. May Mobility had great existing photography that we wanted to highlight and complement with a light, approachable design with fun details like shifting color gradients, subtle animation, and parallax. We also ensured ease of use for individuals with color blindness to make sure the site reads well for various color interpretations.
