What You’ll Find Here
This page is intended to demonstrate how AI tools can become an integral part of your daily workflow. Whether you're enhancing your learning, conducting client and industry research, supporting your sales process, or rapidly prototyping ideas, these practical uses of AI can provide immediate benefits without falling for the hype.
You'll find the following sections below. Click on any section to jump there.
1. Getting Started with AI Tools
Before beginning, you’ll need to create a free ChatGPT (alternatively, you can use Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or CoPilot) account using your email or a Google, Microsoft, or Apple account. Visit the ChatGPT website and click “sign up.” Verify your phone number and confirm your email to complete signup. Once logged in, navigate to the dashboard to start chatting.
Users can also opt to subscribe to ChatGPT’s pro plan, which is $20 per month for an individual user. A paid plan unlocks enhanced features, including faster response times, priority access to new features and updates, and increased usage limits.
Sending Your First Message
Once logged in, navigate to the dashboard to send your first message. You’ll see the interface resembles a chat or message window you might have with a coworker or a customer support rep.
2. Using AI to Help Digest Information and Learn
AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude can assist you in digesting complex information, learning new technologies, and keeping up with industry trends.
Create Your Own Podcasts using NotebookLM
Provide NotebookLM with source material—research papers, links, notes, etc.—and it will act as a research assistant. The flagship feature is its ability to create realistic podcast episodes based on the content you’ve given it.
3. Using AI to Conduct Research on Clients and Industries
AI tools can help you gather insights about potential clients, industry trends, and market data, saving time and enhancing your proposals.
4. Using AI to Support the Sales Process
Enhance your sales process by using AI to draft proposals, personalize communication, and prepare for client meetings.
